Harihargad - In Nashik range

This is one of the good fort to see, because it has carving steps. Still these steps are in good condition and calling to watch the build quality of fort.  Nice surrounding scenery and a great beauty in the Mansoon season.

This is simple trek, not too hard to walk. for beginner it is really good.

Khanderi is sea-fort, (Jaldurg), this is near in Alibag region. This fort is built by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.  This was built to watch on enemy like Siddhi and British.  This was difficult to built in middle of see.  But with help of local Mavalas and great warier's dream of "Swarajya".  This great fort was built in one rainy season. Because in this season, the British and Siddhi were not present to see or watch on that area.  And this was the good time to build the fort. So Maharaj has decided to build the fort in this Mansoon only.  It was difficult but the local people and Malvals were ready to do this and they did.  The fort is really strong, huge and as well beautiful too...... you must watch it.
